Mat classes typically cater for 10 or 11 clients, and are run as a course.

They are particularly suitable if you are happy to work as part of a group and need general strength, flexibility and fitness work. All classes focus on Pilates technique, such as breathing, core activation and alignment. They are not suitable in the first instance if you have any long-standing injuries which need more specific attention. If you have been advised to take up Pilates by your Dr, Physio, Osteopath or Chiropractor you will need to book at least one private lesson first.
All the mat classes are run as a course, which typically lasts 6 or 7 weeks. To secure your place you will be asked to pay for the whole course in advance. No refunds can be offered for any classes that are missed, but by prior arrangement with your teacher alternative sessions may be available.
